The 18 years and the youngest Jamaican Reggae Artist, Koffee makes history as she gets the Grammy Award for “Best Reggae Album” with Rapture discharged on March 14, 2019, under Columbia Records. Koffee’s success makes it the main female artiste to win a Grammy under the previously mentioned classification despite the fact that there were assignments where female reggae craftsmen made it onto the rundown.
The five(5) track collection, “Rapture” got selected in same classification “Best Reggae Album” with Julian Marley’s “As I Am”, Third World’s “More Work To Be Done”; all discharged under Ghetto Youth International, Sly and Robbie and Roots Radics’ “The Final Battle” discharged by Serious Reggae and Steel Pulse’s “Mass Manipulation” discharged under Roots Fire.
Koffee, since the arrival of her hit single “Toast” off her Rapture EP has worked appear to be Lessly to keep up her sparkle. We accept she merits the GRAMMYs, Congrats Koffee!!!
