The Ketu South Municipal Police Headquarters has today, received some personal protective equipment (PPEs) from Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Member of Parliament for Ketu South Constituency.
The items donated were Hand sanitizers, face masks, as well as other protective equipment. These come as a way of the MP’s support in the fight against COVID 19.
Speaking with the leadership of the Police, she said it is her hope that the PPEs will aid the Police in delivering their duties effectively in these troubling Corona Virus era.
She reiterated that Covid is real, hence her collaboration with the municipal police team to educate and inform their clients.
Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie urged the police to ensure that every individual goes strictly with the established protocols to avoid the rise in figures of persons affected by the virus.
The Police commander, Supt. Obrako Sarpong Bempah expressed his gratitude for the kind donations from Hon. Dzifa Gomashie and promised to put them in good use.
He was grateful to the Member of Parliament who he said has made it a habit to show support for the Municipal Police Command. He acknowledged that this is one of the many gestures the Member of Parliament has shown and they were extremely grateful and look forward to more.
