Behind-The-Scenes: Tokz working on video for his song, “Mayi”.

Ghanaian rapper and 2020 Volta Music Awards Nominee, Tokz, goes hard on his ‘Mayi’ single off the New Day Ep, accompanied by a powerful visuals that compliments the Hiphop element in the song.

The video shoot took place over the weekend at IDROWHYT inside Dansoman in the Greater Accra Region.
But before you start praising what you see as the end product, a critical look at the behind scenes reveal the hectic nature of producing a 3 minute 12 second music video of such perfection as the ‘Legend’ music video.
Directed by the Currency of Sammy Flex Tv, the video featured elements of Hiphop culture like Clubbing, Poolside as well as other aesthetic props that added up to the whole visualization like Drink Up party , and the usual models.
In a nutshell, Tokz made much use of simple everyday locations and abandoned structures and turned it into a piece of artwork worth appreciating. He was successful in translating the Hiphop genre into visible scenery that typifies the fruits of an actual legend.
